Bin Fresh-N is a granular product that you put into your garbage can or compost bin. This product is not reusable.  A handful of granules will remove the smell from these horribly stinky areas.  In your garbage can, you will not smell the garbage.  In the compost Bin Fresh-N absorb the gases and excess moisture released as food decays.  The gases and moisture is stored inside the mineral and the is converted to a nitrate.  When the compost is added to your garden it is even more beneficial because of the extra nitrate content.  Maggots and other critters do not like the effects of putting zeolite in your bin, so you will not find them in your compost.
